Shadows Rise
In a dark alley far from the palace, the corrupt policeman stood, sweat dripping from his forehead. Around him — the rappers. Silent. Watching.
“I told you,” the officer stammered, “I did everything you asked. His escape wasn’t my fault!”
One of the rappers lit a cigarette. Another cracked his knuckles. Then their leader stepped forward.
“He’s back in a cell, isn’t he?”
The officer nodded quickly. “Yes! In the king’s palace. He won’t get out again.”
But the rapper just glanced at his friends… then pulled out a gun.
BANG!
The officer collapsed.
The rapper spit to the side. “Stupid cop. Did he really think we’d forgive him?”
“We don’t leave witnesses.”
He turned to the others.
“Now there’s no one left to expose us.”
“Even if that man escapes again — we’ll find him before he finds us. And his fate will be just like that useless cop.”
Back at the royal palace, the king paced in his chamber.
“No one must know,” he told his advisor. “If word gets out that my daughter ran away with a prisoner…”
The advisor stayed silent. The king clenched his fists.
“Maybe I was wrong,” the king murmured. “I didn’t even speak to her… didn’t ask how she woke up. I was so focused on danger… I forgot to see the miracle.”
He sat down, head heavy.
“I keep dreaming of it — the castle in flames… and someone laughing in the dark. I don’t know who… but I know the sound. It’s coming closer.”
And far beyond the palace… in the forbidden forest…
The cursed jokers gathered.
Dark robes. Painted faces. A fire burning in the middle of their circle.
One of them spoke first, voice sharp and cold.
"She has awakened."
“Who dared to break my spell?”
“I’m certain there was a human who spied on us.”
“Every time we reveal ourselves, we risk exposing our existence.”
“But we no longer need to hide.”
“We’ve ruled the shadows for centuries. Now… we rule the light.”
“Let tomorrow mark the beginning of our reign.”
“We strike the palace. Kill the king. End the fear that has held us back.”
“We shall reveal ourselves — and crush anyone who dares stand in our way.”
Their faces glowed with rage and dark magic.
The world would change…
Starting tomorrow night.
